Since 2012 he joined QBE, an insurance company as Regional claim manager for three years with task of Automotive’s mechanical and electrical failure claim management. He also serves as the guest speaker for EVs technologies topic in Train the trainer program to support the Royal Thai Government’s EEC(Eastern Economic Corridor) project.

Huynh Thanh Cong received Master Degree in Thermal and Energetic from L’Ecole Centrale de Lyon (France, 2003) and Ph.D. Degree in Thermal and Fluid engineering from Sungkyunkwan University (Korea, 2009). In 2016, he has served as an associate professor in internal combustion engines. He is currently served as Vice-dean of Transportation Engineering and Head of Key-lab for internal combustion engine Department of Automotive and IC engine Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University of Technology. His current interests include internal combustion engines, biofuels/alternative fuels, and emission control.
